Memberads

Memberads may appear in Cartophilic Notes and News and/or on the website. You can submit them yourself via the website by logging in to the members' page. If you prefer, you can submit them using a paper form as described below:

George Hoare (Advertisement Manager) and Peter Wright (Editor of the CN&N magazine) have come up with a new system for the use of Memberads, which will be cheaper and easier to use for all concerned. Basically there will be only one type of "Memberads Order Form" from now on - it will be coloured yellow. The procedure will be as follows:

a) Any member who wants a Memberad should fill in one of these forms in the normal way. Please tick one or both of the boxes to indicate where you wish the advert to appear. Then send it to George by post, as before.

b) George will check them, and send all those approved to Peter by ordinary mail, in time for the next deadline.

c) He will then type them all up in the order originally received. If you have ticked the "IN NOTES & NEWS" box, they will be inserted in the magazine as soon as space allows. If you have ticked the "ON CSGB WEB SITE" box, those will be forwarded to Stuart Arnold (our Webmaster) by email, and he will do the necessary.

The first distribution of the new forms should be found inserted in the March-April 2008 issue.
